Pendant "Viking boat Drakkar
 Boat used mainly by Vikings and Saxons for military purposes during the Middle Ages, and for exploratory voyages, they were used until the fifteenth century.
 Some versions include a rectangular sail mounted on a single mast. Generally the prow was "decorated" with menacing heads of dragons or monstrous deities to scare enemies, very useful for navigating at sea and going up rivers.
